It's a question that comes up a lot and, in this blog, I will talk about why I think you get a lot of bang for your buck when you choose Myotherapy treatment to speed up your body's natural healing process.
The cost of price per session varies greatly from clinic to clinic. The price doesn't really indicate the quality of care or skill level of your Myotherapist, but at the very least you know that Myotherapy is the highest level a Massage therapist can obtain.
Here in Melbourne Myotherapy, it is around 3 years full time. Depending on the pathway taken to becoming a "Myo" the Myotherapist is generally trained in Therapeutic (used to be called Relaxation Massage) Remedial Massage and then becomes a Myotherapist. Within all of those levels electives are taken such as Pregnancy Massage, Lymphatic drainage, Aromatherapy, Sports Massage and Chair Massage. I myself also had Acupressure.
Pricewise Myotherapy is typically about the same price as a Relaxation or Remedial treatment, but a Myotherapist has more training.
At the end of your treatment cycle, you will of typically
spent LESS!!! with a Myotherapist than the fore mentioned Massage therapist due to the results you can expect to get with someone whose trained more.
So is Myotherapy expensive? No its aprox $99-$120 a session which is about the same as a Massage at the shopping center. If you have extras cover its usually claimable.
